This is more about a story than a picture. I lived here for 4 years. Probably the best four years of my life. I became an adult real fast the first day after my parents left to go back home. This is the rich little secret of an otherwise poor southeastern Ohio region.

Home to the Bobcats and learning institution that is Ohio University. This photograph in many ways sums up what makes this small college town so great. Old brick roads line campus and parts of uptown, but the best time to see it is in the fall, especially in mid October. It is overcast and it rains a lot. You think that would be depressing, but it is peaceful and things slow down. It isn't the rush of the big city and gives you time to reflect, enjoy the time with your friends.

Coffee shops that line the top of the main street are bustling with the early and not so early risers in the morning and the pubs that line the bottom overflow with laughter at night. Truely it is your picturesque college town. So if you can't make the trip down I will bring it to you.
